Environmental Commitment

Wave supports the sound environmental recycling of old and used Mobile Phone Devices.

Wave will seek to optimise the amount of material that can reasonably be re-used or recycled. The remaining material will be disposed of in an environmentally conscious manner in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

This is our way of showing that Wave supports individual producer responsibility (IPR). We also support initiatives that bring about legislation that suitably address these issues. We are happy to participate in the process to put such legislation in place. This is true in all locations where we are active.

Did you know that most consumers keep unwanted mobile phones in drawers and that only as little as 7% of unwanted mobile phones are recycled. We want to help you to recycle your unwanted mobile phone and thereby reduce the impact on the environment.

Recycling means that mobile phones do not end up in landfills but are sent to recycling facilities specialised in mobile phone recycling. This means that both components and materials are used once again, reducing the need to extract and refine material for new products. Furthermore, this will lead to the reduction of e-waste, saving energy and chemicals.

How to prepare your device:
