 | ConsoPST for Exchange
|
|
 | Exchange to Exchange migrations can stand for critical weight in terms of project costs as well as helpdesk charges if not efficiently carried out. ConsoPST for Exchange allows you to migrate from your 5.5, 2000 and 2003 Exchange servers to a single Exchange server 2007, remotely, in a secure and painless way without disturbing end users.
Thus, in such a project, the goals are:
Ensuring that the messaging system continues to work properly during the migration process (critical points being unstable Active Directory replication for instance)
Ensuring that neither users nor data are lost
Minimizing manual manipulations
Minimizing the impact on end users
Maximizing security
ConsoPST for Exchange was developed to migrate/ recreate all the users accounts onto the Exchange 2007 under new AD and then automatically update the Outlook profile of each migrated user once the user logs on to the network.
The aim is to avoid the manual reconfiguration of profiles not only to gain time, but also to limit the risk of possible errors.
ConsoPST for Exchange gives you the option to keep the former and the new profiles to allow the possibility to each user to switch to their initial server in case of any data problems that could occur during the migration process.
